Supplementation
We get asked all the time our thoughts on supplementation. Our stance is this: if you are eating a well-balanced Paleo diet, then you are getting enough protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals. The only vitamins we take are Vitamin D (because we don’t get enough from the sun and it has a variety of benefits) and fish oil (for recovery, cardiovascular health, etc.).
Unless are you are trying to gain or keep on a lot of weight, you don’t need protein shakes. Nutrition doesn’t come from a bag, box or can. REAL FOOD is always better.
Keep it simple. Eat whole foods: meat, vegetables, healthy fats and some fruit. Cut the grains and sugar. You will look, feel and perform your best ever!
Checking in…How are all you Paleo Challengers doing on your own? I’ve heard of some set-backs. Don’t do it – you’ve worked so hard!
